America's and Philadelphia's great George Crumb will be celebrating his 90th birthday this coming fall, and Swarthmore College will be celebrating it with him.

The program will include Crumb's song cycle Sun and Shadow, with Ann Crumb and Marcantonio Barone, the solo piano piece Metamorphoses I, with Mr. Barone, and (as at Haverford College the following week) the final movement of Music for a Summer Evening, with Messers Kalish and Freeman. Mr. Kalish will also play the solo piano piece Processional.
